The Power of a Prompt: Poetry That Speaks to the Soul

In a world that's constantly in motion, finding the right words can feel like chasing clouds. But there’s a magic in letting someone else put pen to paper for you—a magic that turns your thoughts, feelings, and experiences into something beautifully tangible. When I started Elina's Palette , I wanted to create more than just a platform for poetry. I wanted to offer a shared space where creativity meets connection, where every poem tells a story that’s as unique as the person who inspired it. That’s where the idea of "Claim your verse" was born. Here’s how it works: You provide the spark, and I’ll light the fire. I once complained to the dreaded goodbye

the last kiss  in the airport – how little  did I know  my life would demand  all that I hold tightly to my chest a net to carry  groceries and holes  where even nightmares  don’t catch succumb to this fate   see my family  twice a year, my sister  maybe more  and two, three friends  I talk daily about  the inevitable the ordinary separated once again  my fear and love  – an ocean  a  sea of dreams  I once believed I still believe when did I become a series of goodbyes   ELINA RINDLE

Through the Artist's Eye: Canvas of Cultures

Art is a universal language—one that transcends borders, tells stories, and reflects the soul of its creator. Through this lens, I’m thrilled to introduce Through the Artist's Eye: Canvas of Cultures , a new blog series dedicated to celebrating artists from around the world and the cultural threads that connect their work to their home. One of my favorite things about traveling is wandering through unfamiliar streets and soaking in the vibrant essence of a place—not just the landscapes, the food, or the traditional clothing, but the art that breathes life into its culture. Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of meeting remarkable artists whose work captures the heart and soul of their communities.  Each artist brings a unique perspective shaped by their heritage, surroundings, and experiences. In this series, we’ll explore their journeys, their inspirations, and the ways in which their cultures influence their art. From Tanzania to Brazil, we’ll take a closer look at the stories ...

To have dreams

Potential slumbers  within you – a tiger In hibernation it will rip you  apart if you don’t  wait, it will surely kill you  My tiger rides the ocean  like it flows and ebbs, waves  shattered on the land the sand – crystals of believing in my eye, heavy once again  the periphery – the whole world  at the horizon a deep dark place  that still brings life and a sky  that erupts in lighting they battle for the tiger  each day – impossible to touch Should i rise                      or fall            or is sleeping fine? Searching

searching, searching, surging surfacing from underneath underwater we float, get lost in the lack of weight – a pause in time, the beating of heart in the ear, fall into the wave to come out underneath surging from searching   butterflies in the sky, the sand my eyes, a salty cove of  restless energy, surging, begging for movement but a force to a halt move still, run calm across your skin and prickly on your palms – we emerge from the wave, found ELINA RINDLE
